小宝宝妈妈休闲聚会 Play Group for New Families

您是新移民，并且有不满5岁的小孩吗？
您是否还没有为孩子找到托儿所？
您是否还不能把您的父母从中国接来帮您照顾小孩？
您是独自一人在加拿大生活吗？
您是否独立照料初生的宝宝或者幼小的孩子，不论白天、黑夜？

满城华人服务中心(承蒙华人天主教堂提供场地)愿意尽力帮助新移民父母走出孤立无援的困境。
虽然我们不能为您提供日托服务，但是我们将启动一项新的服务：每周一次，
在志愿者的帮助下，为您提供一个与其他象您一样独立抚养幼儿的父母们会面和交流的机会。
我们希望参与者可以从中获得相互支持与帮助。在活动过程中，
我们的志愿者将帮助您照顾小孩，以便您有机会放松并结识其他一些同样初为人父母的朋友。

第一次活动将于2004年2月13日，下午2:00—4:00在华人天主教堂举办。

Are you a new immigrant who has a child less than 5 years old ?
Are you unlucky enough not to have daycare space ?
Have you been unable to bring your parents from China to help you take care of your child ?
Are you alone in Canada ?
Are you taking care of your new-born or very small child alone, day and night ?
Although we cannot offer you a daycare, CFSGM(华人服务中心) under the Chinese Catholic
Mission will start a service to help new immigrant parents come out of their isolation.
Once a week, with the help of volunteers, CFSGM and the Chinese Catholic Mission
would like to offer you an opportunity to meet other parents like yourself,
who are taking care of their young children all alone, to talk, to exchange information,
and hopefully, to offer each other mutual support. Our volunteers will play with
your children while you have a chance to relax, to meet other new parents, and chat.

Our programme will begin on Friday February 13, from 2-4pm at the
Chinese Catholic Mission, located at 979 Coté.
